Book Meme Days 02 and 03
Okay, here's Day 02 and Day 03 at once because yesterday I had an emergency, so I kind of forgot about everything except that. So here you go.

Day 02 - A book that you’ve read more than 3 times

Carrie by Stephen King
This was actually the first Stephen King book I ever read - go figure. I really like it because honestly, what's not to like about it? It's the ultimate revenge story for anyone who has EVER been bullied. And although I love the film, the book is about a million times better and I highly recommened it. Perhaps my favorite part of the book is that throughout the story, fake news articles, trial transcripts, and more are intermingled as it is looked upon as already have happened. That has inspired me to try to write a story in such a nature because it makes it really easy to get everything covered. You can do every point of view.

Day 03 - Your favorite series

The Millenium Trilogy by Steig Larsson
I have a lot of favorite series, but this is my latest and one of my favorites ever for several reasons. The writing is awesome, although incredibly detailed which can turn a lot off. The characters are some of the most memorable I read in quite a while, specifically Lisbeth. The trilogy conists of The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo, The Girl Who Played with Fire, and The Girl Who Kicked the Hornet's Nest. It does have a rather sad note in that the author died tragically before these books were made into films. I loved the Swedish adaptions, although they weren't as good as the books, but what movie really is? I am however very worried about the Hollywood remake because I feel there are parts of the original that will be taken out due to Hollywood audiences (note I am not saying American as I feel there is a strong difference) can deal with. That, and I worry that they may miscast it. The actors who played the two main characters really were perfect in my eyes. But we will see.

I'm going to have to remember The Millenium Trilogy because I've been seeing the Girl with the Dragon Tattoo everywhere and have been wanting to read it.

Is everything ok? :)

Oh yeah, it's a good one. See the Swedish one before they remake it because it's AWESOME. After seeing that, my husband and I spent two hours not only finally downloading the other two movies, but then had to get them subtitled into English, which was not easy.

Yes, everything is fine. It was a stupid emergency really. The bathroom plumbing backed up in my house and my upstairs bathroom was flooded in sewage, which is the nice word to describe it. Up to my ankles. SO SICKENINGLY AWFUL. So I called work and told them I had a family emergency because that was simply too embarrassing. Then I got to spend about three or four hours cleaning the bathroom and finally unclogging the toilet with my bare hands because I'll be damned if I'm going to call a plumber and my husband was up north. SO GROSS...
