It's was sunny today!!!!!  Interesting day.  It was all thunderstormy last night and my husband got pissy with the animals so he slept in another room while I got the king size bed all to myself.  That's awesome!  I got to sleep in cuz its Saturday after a REALLY slow work week and a sucky Friday and today we drove to Uptown and walked around.  We ended up going to Saturday Happy Hour which is 1 in the afternoon and drank Long Islands.  Yeah, that makes things neat.  Especially when you're going to a dramatic film afterwards.  We went and saw the move "Life Before her Eyes".   Oh, LOVED it!!!  It's getting bad reviews and I don't honestly know why.  It was really good.  I started crying at the beginning because it's very intense and brings back some bad memories, but other than that, it was awesome.  I love Evan Rachel Wood and Uma Thurman, so them both playing the same character was really an interesting sight.

I made a bunch of artwork and am currently thinking of making some lovebars/colorbars.  I don't know if anyone would like them though.

Here's a ton of different fandom icons I did over the weekend. My weekend has kind of sucked, but what do you do, huh? I did see a badass movie on Friday. I highly recommend the film "Funny Games" to anyone who has access to seeing it. Lots who have seen the trailers think it's just one of those torture porn flicks like usual, but this is WAY more like Hitchcock than anything. Almost all the bad stuff is seen offscreen, sort of like the ear cutting scene in "Reservoir Dogs". But it is REALLY harsh. I really want to go see it again before it leaves the independent theater here.

I would like to mention that, much like many others, I am getting REALLY aggravated with the CW and their constant huge watermark of the new Pussycat Dolls show promo.  It's fine if it's on for a bit, but to have it over an ENTIRE show?  I could have done SO many more icons of the new Supernatural episode and a bunch of animated ones, but I would rather wait for the DVD to make those so they look nicer.  Oh, and I now have this love/hate thing going with Bela cuz of what she did in the episode (at the end), but good lord, she looked BEAUTIFUL in that episode!

Well, here's my latest massive batch of icons. I decided to do a few fandoms, so I did SPN, Buffy, and the X-Files. I focused on SPN episode Malleus Maleficarum, the Buffy episode Tough Love, and the X-Files episode Never Again. I loved the new SPN episode! I've always liked Ruby and now she seems to have more fans as she kicked ASS in this episode. This batch of SPN icons has a ton of her in it, so I'll have to do some later on that have more of the boys.

Yes, yet another artwork post from me.  It is currently -13 degrees outside ACTUAL temperature with a wind chill of -30.  Why do I still live here?  I was downtown last night and walked half a block and couldn't feel my toes or shins.  A friend and I paid a cabbie the minimum $5 fare to take us another half block to the parking ramp.  And it was TOTALLY worth it!

We did brave the elements today and go see "Cloverfield" which I have been trying to see since midnight on Thursday.  Oh, God, it was just fantastic!  I recommend it to anyone other than those who get motion sickness and anyone who was actually in NY on 9/11.  There's a couple moments where I got really emotional because it just reminds you of that and I can't imagine being someone who had lived through it seeing at least that portion of the film.

Here's a big Buffy/SMG post I decided to do.  I have been paying a lot of attention to Supernatural lately and wanted to go play with my Buffy graphics again.  Most of these are from season five, but there are some from other seasons.  I'm thinking of doing big batches of icons with a common theme (this one being mostly of Buffy from season five).  If anyone is looking for anything in particular, feel free to request.  I'm planning on a big Supernatural/Buffy crossover, so that is in the works.

Just got done watching a documentary on Syd Barrett.  Yeah, I just can't help but cry every time I hear the story about him.  Especially when they are playing practically the entire Wish You Were Here album in the background.  God, I want to see David Gilmore again!!!
