inspiration, dammit!!!!
So, I was playing around manipping images last night and I did this awesome Buffy manip.  However, I only have the manip.  There is no background or anything - just manipped little Buffy standing in black space.

I am looking for some inspiration.  I haven't done a Buffy piece in a LONG time and would like to get into it again because I love manipping SMG.  It is more of a serious manip as she is not smiling.  I really wanted to make it into a Spuffy piece, but I am TERRIBLE at male manips.  I have no clue who to use as a manip base for Spike.  Or Angel, for that matter.

In other news, I am working on doing some Renesmee artwork.  I want to find a really good fanfic for inspiration on that one because she is older in my art.  I found these beautiful images of Evan Rachel Wood that work really nicely with how I imagine Nessie to be.  I just have to darken her eyes.

And finally, I am working to get some retouch jobs.  I do retouching for models, but as of now, I have just done free pieces to build my portfolio.  Now I am second guessing myself at every turn.  I see things like 'Professional Retoucher Needed' and I'm like, "Well, I'm not professional!"  It's awesome.  So if anyone needs any retouch work or knows of where I could find some people that do (with the exception of Craigslist because I have already posted over there), let me know!  I have lots of samples!
I feel: apatheticapathetic

I know what you mean about manipping guys. I'm always so much better when it comes to the girls. Some of my favorite manips are of girls. Though usually if I'm doing a shippy one I usually just take a promo of either the guy or girl and put whoever's left in.

I think I'm better at manipping girls cuz I'm so much more familiar with the female body. I'm always amazed when people do those full shipper manips. :)

That's probably true. I'd think it would be easier if it's something you're familiar. I'm the same way. I'm always amazed when they're really well done. Then I wish I was that good.
