Internet trolls...
This has been bugging me for a long time.  Everyone knows the site imdb.com, right?  The Internet Movie Database?  Well, I'm a huge movie buff and love having conversations with others regarding films.  When I first saw the forums they have for EVERY single subject on there, I was very excited.  And no matter how many times I try to avoid it, I end up back there, thinking things will be different.  But it's not.  Has anyone ever been over there on a frequent enough basis to realize that about 90% of the people posting on those forums are just little trolls?  It's so aggravating!  I go to look up a movie and I'll see things that have no real relevance to the film.  People just sit and post on there that movies suck, that certain actors are gay, that they are eleven and went and saw this gorey horror film, etc.  I think I've had maybe two intelligent conversations on there.  Maybe?  It's not a good thing.  I wish they would do something about it.

Okay, that was my aggravated rant.  My puppy is driving me crazy.  I would suck as a mom, I can't handle all this crying and running around like an absolute maniac.  My Chihuahua is totally calm and these one runs around like I just feed him a bunch of coffee beans.  It wouldn't be so bad, but I have to watch him every second so he doesn't crap everywhere.  I think I wore him out though because he is passed out on my lap.  The people that had him before us treated him like crap because we cleaned out the kennel they gave us and it was literally just covered in dog crap.  Ew!  How can you be so neglectful?  Plus, doesn't that just reek in your house?  We gave him a bath to and found that he had the crap all in his fur and paws.  He's all nice and clean now though and smells good.  He was also super bloated when we got him.  He's so tiny and was shaped like a pear.  Well, it's been two days and his whole body is proportioned now.  They were probably overfeeding him.  Some people are just morons.  I mean, come on!  What are you doing?

I can't believe tomorrow is already Thursday.  That's crazy, the week has gone by too fast for me.  It's going to be -30 this weekend.  With a high of zero degrees!  How do you like that?  I can't wait until I finish the payments on this house so I can go buy a condo in Key West.  I absolutely love Minneapolis, but this weather is terrible.  I mean, when you get weather that is downright dangerous, people shouldn't live here.  So the crowd at the Green Bay game this weekend should have fun.  Ugh, how much hypothermia is going to be there?  Let's get a bunch of drunk Packer fans and put them in an outdoor field during the playoffs!  Thanks, I'll be sitting in my nice warm house, pointing and laughing at them on my plasma TV with the surround sound.

Still, if I had the chance to go to that game, I totally would.  A pair of tickets is going for $3000.

Oh darling, no matter how much you like movies, it's just not worth the headache. I do find myself posting now and then, but it's usually to tell someone they're a moron (I try to avoid obvious trolls though, some people really are just morons). I generally try to bypass the forum portion of the pages when I visit IMDB.

I know. I try to tell myself that every time I go on there to look something up. Good thing there are good forums out there. :-)

I love imdb just because of the movie info.
I don't go to the forums =\

The rest of the site is great. I especially like the trivia part. :-)

I made the mistake of going in there once, but never ever again. Unless it's a movie which I've found no info on, then I sometimes go in to see if anyone's got the scoop. One the movie's out it kinda fills up with morons stating their completely moronic opinions and acting like children. No thanks.

Ha, you sound like me!

Dude, you make some of the COOLEST icons! I love that Anyanka one, but your Dru ones are still my favorite. Especially the iDru. Love it!

Aww thanks! She was the first 100 icons challenge I tried, and I really didn't know much of anything about iconising back then so I just experimented wildly ;)

I always vote for movies on IMDB, but I never go on the forums. I mean, there are like amazing movies that I love and then people just keep bashing them and pissing me off. So I vote for things but I generally don't talk to people unless I agree with them. :P

Holy crap!!! -30?! That's insane. Well I probbaly wouldn't mind it cause I LOVE cold weather. But the coldest I've been in is like -11 or something when I was in Canada. And yeah, the game is going to be insane.

Ooh, Canadian! I always get a kick out of those that live in Canada because I feel we are the only two hockey teams that should really count. MN hockey fans and Canadian hockey fans are nuts.
We were discussing today how the -30 is not so bad, it's that horrific wind that kills you. Goes down your throat and up your nose. Then your lungs hurt. If I didn't live in a house that has sentimental value, I'd be in Seattle right now.

Well I don't live /in/ Canada, I just went there once. I'm in New York. :P
But I do love hockey!

And ahh wind chill...it hurts!

Yeah, the wind chill makes it feel like your face hardens up.

I love IMDb, but I only go there to vote, get info on movies, actors, actresses, etc. I've read some of the comments on there and just thought "jeez, get a life." =) So I don't participate in chats there.

Puppies are just like babies. They require constant attention. =) You're so happy when they reach one year old. (The puppy that is. I think it's 18 for the babies. LOL) He'll calm down eventually. =)

-30 is far too cold for me! *shivers* I'd be staying indoors all nice and toasty too!

Ticket prices are just outrageous for sporting events and concerts. I've gotten to where I just stay home and watch them on TV or DVD's. =)

So glad to hear someone else say that about puppies. See, I have cats that are kind of trained from birth and don't require an immense amount of attention and I got my other dog when he was nine months old. I've never done this before. And my husband has a son so he was describing how much it's like a baby too, except I get more than four hours of sleep a night! :-)
