IE vs. Mozilla
Okay, question....
I recently updated my site (MAJORLY) and want it accessible to everyone.  However, I am finding that those who use IE cannot access it properly.  This is aggravating me because I don't  know how to code the CSS so it works for IE without messing up the Mozilla coding.  See below.  If you check out the following page on IE and then on Mozilla, you will get what I mean.  The funny thing is that if you are on IE and you just refresh the page, all turns out well, so I don't know if it's just a bug, or what is going on.  HELP!!!!

In the meantime, if you like check out the site on Mozilla (where it actually worked) cuz it's all new and shiny!  :-)

Ok, first of all. WTF is going on with your layout here on LJ? I had to switch to view in my own style to see your entry and be able to comment? Seems LJ is acting really wonky right now *confused*

anyway, that's not why I'm here *lol* ;)

I've had this exact issue, especially with my current layout for Chosen Art. that's why I use TWO stylesheets :)

if you add the and then the browsers will load their own stylesheet depending on the browser itself. Meaning you are TELLING the browser that if it's Internet Explorer then it should run the style "background_IE.css" and if it's another browser, be it Firefox or Operah etc, then it will run the other stylesheet :)

Get it? :)
It's very handy, ran into it back when Chosen Art was being redesigned and I had this exact issue, took me a few weeks to solve but now I can't live without it. Roadhouse is run exactly the same way :)

Well, Guten Abend sweetie...
I think it has something to do with the type of template being used, hence the whole S2 thing. I don't know. At first, I came home and saw that I had gotten messages from you in my email and went from my inbox to this entry. I was like, "What did Dana do to my LJ??????"" That was comical for a couple minutes. I'm sure it will be okay tomorrow, whatever the hell it is.
Oh, and screw those people who won't go on your site because they can't repost. What is that all about? Jerks.
