Okay, here's the deal. Seven of these walls were made for the Seven Deadly Sins challenge at BF. I did five of them and was then reminded that they each had to have the sin written on them somewhere, so some of them have two versions. I have some posted in previous posts, but I wanted to make a post that has all seven. Also listed here are other wallpapers I made over the past week or so. Enjoy!

Buffy the Vampire Slayer
Cast: Buffy and Spike
Words: Punishment for lust
Info: First off, this is my first Buffy piece in practically a year! So, that's cool. This piece is based on a scene I view as completely lustful. I personally loved the lusty Spuffy relationship. The punishment for lust is to be smothered in fire and brimstone. I decided to use the fire texture to show that off and incorporated some blue (the color associated with lust) into the piece. It turned purple when mixed with the fire tones, but it's still there, nonetheless.
Title: A Great Thief
Cast: Dean and Bela
Words: Dean and Bela
Info: This one is pretty straightforward. The sin of greed is shown in Bela's career as a 'great thief'. She takes everything to live a greedy life. I looked up the color of the sin of greed and found it to be associated with yellow, so I incorporated some yellow tones in the piece.
Title: The Table's Turned
Cast: Dean, the Yellow Eyed Demon, Mary
Words: Judas Priest
Info: It's pretty straight forward if you have seen the show. The killer of the boys' mother (and so many others) is finally killed at the hands of Dean. I gave this wall a bluish green tint as I thought it was rather dark, but there is still a tinge of happiness when the bad guy gets what he had coming, hence, the lighter color. I thought it was the perfect example of wrath. Also, I added the image Mary as well because I wanted their to be an image of what the wrath was all about.
Cast: Sam and Ruby
Info: I loved how excited and full of herself Ruby was in this scene, after she had succeeded in using Sam to kill Lilith, therefore, raising Satan. It's a perfect example of pride, in my opinion. The wall has a lot of purple in it because the color purple symbolizes pride.
Title: Chocolate Cake and Sex
Cast: Dean and Anna
Words: Dean and Anna
Info: Anna fell due to envy. She was envious of the life of humans and all the things we have, whether good or bad. She saw her 'life' as an angel and unfeeling and cold and longed for more. Although I can't blame her, envy is envy. I read up on envy and found the color associated with it to be green, so I added a few green tones in, but I also found that the punishment for envy to be that you would be put in freezing water. I experimented with a LOT of different water stocks and eventually came across one of ice floating in water, so it is slightly incorporated into the wall, showing what can come because of the sin.
Title: The Feather
Cast: Sam and Ruby
Info: This was just a fun piece for me. I love all the emotion going on in this scene, so it's a lot of fun to art. Ruby's all excited and proud of herself, Sam is feeling betrayed and used, not to mention, completely freaked out by what is about to happen, and then, of course, the audience feelings are just a giant mess of things. I like the feather line because it sounds so innocent, when what Sam actually did is the total opposite. I really needed to use the feather stock and I thought it looked nice here.
Title: Shining Your Light
Cast: Bill, Sookie, and the cop
Info: A simple scene piece - I really liked this scene. I found it to be incredibly dark because it shows Bill's protective and frightening side. The humans in the show treat the vampires like second class citizens, but this scene really shows how fast that whole situation could be turned around if the vampires decided to revolt. The dark colors are representative of this.
Words: Definition of sloth
Info: I was determined to do a sloth entry because I have had the hardest time describing sloth. Finally, I came into the time period in New Moon where Edward left Bella and she was left in her slump of doing nothing but sitting around. She was in a state of pure sloth. I had to use the Messengers caps because I couldn't pull it off with any other caps or images. I also looked up the colors that describe sloth and came up with olive and some light blues, so I incorporated them into the piece as well. The words are a great definition I found of the term sloth. I think it defines the sin very well, but also sums up Bella's state of mind. Finally, the clock is added in to incorporate the time that is being spent in her state of sloth.
Title: The Monster in my Head
Cast: Bella and Edward
Info: I love that this scene was actually filmed. I've been wanting to art it forever and found it to be a great case of gluttony for this challenge. In Midnight Sun, we hear the actual thoughts that Edward had of wanting to kill Bella and drink her blood. I really love the description in Midnight Sun versus the description in Twilight. It's so much darker. I associated the extreme obsession he has for her blood, basically throughout the series, to mirror that of someone who really has harsh food cravings. Vampire gluttony, basically. The orange and red tones were used as I looked up the colors associated with gluttony and orange is the color used to symbolize it.
Title: Flying High
Cast: Bella and Edward
Words: The 69 Eyes
Info: I wanted to do a manip, so this is the result. I like doing images of what I believe Bella and Edward are like after Breaking Dawn, leaving the life so many would love to have. Hence, the lyrics.
