I think you and I would really get along well in real life. We both do the eating and sleeping thing and I love foreign languagues. What three do you speak fluently?

I think so, too :)
I speak Russian, Ukrainian and English. I also used to study German (but I forgot almost all of it) and now I'm learning to speak French (but it's only been a couple of months, so I'm not very good at it yet).

I've wanted to learn Russian for a long time, but I think it would be rather tough. My second language (German) at least has the same alphabet characters. I don't know how well I would do with more characters! :-)

well, to tell you the truth, even though my English is quite good, I still don't know its alphabet... I remember the German one perfectly, though, because it was my first foreign language. I know how to pronounce the English characters, of course, but I can never name them in the right order - I always end up reffering to the German alphabet. thank God they have the same characters! :)
but actually I think that memorizing an alphabet is the easiest thing to do - comparing to learning how to read or studying grammar rules.

I do the same in regards to the German alphabet. I can say it better than the English one, which is so odd to so many people. It seems to roll off my tongue better.
:-)
